On Tuesday, 4th March, Year 10 and 11 students had the invaluable opportunity to take part in mock interviews as part of National Careers Week.

We were privileged to welcome a fantastic team of interviewers from various professional backgrounds who generously volunteered their time and expertise:

Sarah Ayres - Torridge District Council
-
Jo Worsley – School Governor
-
Faye Clark - Torridge District Council
-
Jesse Gillett - Thornery Care
-
Tanya Gillet – Thornery Care
-
Martin Bevan - School Governor
-
Jamie Allen – School Governor
-
Elaine Thorne – Lampard School
The interviews provided students with realistic scenarios to practice their communication and presentation skills. They were able to receive constructive feedback, which will be invaluable as they prepare for future job applications and college admissions.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the interviewers for their support and dedication. Their guidance and feedback have given our students a real-world perspective on the interview process and helped them build the confidence needed to succeed in their future careers.
Well done to all the students who took part and made the most of this fantastic opportunity!
